How many....

How do you know when your child has too much of something....

The Barbies were sleeping here. Five of her Barbies are not pictured! She still has not opened about 10 she received for her birthday! Who thinks she has too many?!?

Bop and Gran

Let me first say that we have gone through many names for Dustin's daddy, but finally settled on "Pop". Well, that was until Kimber started jabbering. He cannot say "Pop" but he calls him "Bop". And boy does he love his "Bop". The other day we were all getting our hair cut and Bop stopped by the shop to see the kids. All the way home (20 min) Kimber kept saying "I want Bop" over and over. It was hilarious. And so cute. So, at this point, I'm not sure if it's Bop or Pop but he answers to either.

We were at their house the other night and I snapped a few pics. I'm no professional photographer but I thought I did pretty well.

This is Bop. You couldn't even tell he has a bad back!

The Princess and the Dragon

AL LOVES to dress up. A couple of weekends ago we were getting dressed for the day and of course, she picked out this Tangled outfit. The bottom row of her closet is full of dress up clothes. When Kimber saw this dragon outfit he kept pointing to it and saying "Look" that means really look at this and give it to me. So they wanted to put on these outfits and I thought they were adorable! I need to get him more outfits. This was an old Halloween costume my cousin gave me.

How we Roll

I'm not sure how things are done on other farms, but this is how we roll:

The corn harvest is complete! Yay! A weekend breather and then the bean harvest begins!

Farm Kids

We went and did a "mini" photo shoot (with myself as the photographer!) on Monday with my Pappaw. He has cows and cuts hay and I think the pics around his hay field turned out great!

Birthday Pictures

It's been a few weeks since my baby girl turned 3 but here are some of the pics from her princess or Barbie themed party!

Isn't she beautiful! This is the birthday outfit Grammie got for her.
This is the Plum, Kimber, and AL taking a ride in the Barbie Jeep. It was funny b/c the Plum was the driver and AL was pushing the gas and K was just riding! They loved it.

Here she is with one of her many, many Barbies she got for her birthday. Savannah ("Nanny") gave her this sparkly Barbie and horse. (She LOVES Savannah).

This is the Barbie cake I made. The skirt was ruched and had sparkles. It was a big hit. There were two cake mixes to make the cake and ALL of the cake was gone by the end of the party. There were also 2 trays of cupcakes (chocolate, of course) that were gone!

We had a great time celebrating our little girls' 3rd birthday party. My how time flies!

A Visit with the Plum

On Saturday we made a short visit to see the Plum. I'm sure most of you know the Plum, but if not, check out his blog entitled "The Sugar Plum", he's sure to give you a laugh or two!

The kids played pretty well together and had a great time visiting. After playing in the dirt, we decided to get a bath b/f heading home. AL thought she was in charge most of the time, but I'm pretty sure the Plum was just letting her think that to get the upper hand! Kimber mainly let the bigger ones duke it out!

It was fun to see how they "mirrored" each other's playing but didn't really "play together". It's always fun when we spend time with the Armstrongs!

How cute are they in the tub!

Number 3!

Last weekend my baby girl had her 3rd birthday! I can't believe it has been three years. It seems like yesterday that I was sitting in the bar exam hoping my water wouldn't break and take out about 12 computers (you had to be there to believe the potential torts!). There would have been some angry boys and girls that day! But she held off and was born at 2:31 on Thursday, July 31, 2008. It is one of the two best days of my life (of course, Kimber is the other).

I remember when they finally let us go home from the hospital. Dustin and I got in the truck to come and thought "they're just letting us take this baby home; we have no idea what to do!" It has been such a wonderful three years.

I have been blessed with such a sweet spirited little girl. She loves her mama and daddy and loves her Kimber the most!

I'll post pics of the party later, and yes, we did fix her hair before the party!
